Action Photos

The movement in this photo makes it action, it requires a slow shutter speed, the photographer was panning, lighting plays a role by how you are able to se at the horse is running.

This is a good action photo because it captures the surfer on the wave, it requires a fast shutter speed, the photographer was pre-placed, and the light plays a role by how good the waves look and how well you can see this surfer.

This is a good example of action shots because it captures the movement of the dogs face, it requires a fast shutter speed, the photographer was pre-placed, and lighting plays a role in this by giving it enough light to be able to see the individual water specks.

This is a good example of an action photo because it shows the movement of the city traffic, this photo needed a slow shutter speed, the photographer was panning, and the lighting that plays a role here is the city lights, which actually give the photo a more interesting affect i think.

I think this is a great action photo because I love the pause in time feel it gives off, the almost frozen looking water, this requires a fast shutter speed, the lighting in this gives the photo contrast, the shadow you see, I think the photographer in this photo was pre-placed.

Pattern Photos

I chose this photo because i feel like the stars were a good definition of a pattern.

I think the tiles in this picture represent a good pattern as well. Because most the tiles are somewhat painted.

I think this picture is a good example of a pattern because there is repetition of the colors, so in a way like a pattern.

              Patterns

I chose this picture because I felt that the pattern of this giraffes fur is a good use of pattern.

This also portrays good patterns.

So does this one

Especially this one.

And this one

Portraits

None of these pictures directly match the picture I had chosen from the options, but honestly because i had forgotten what our kinds of pictures we were supposed to take were. But if there was i picture i felt like looked like it the most and would represent it best would be my top photo. I think because it was a candid photo and i felt it was in a way free flowing like the one picture i had chosen.
